Michelle Steele
Support Coordinator

Michelle began working in the community sector almost 20 years ago. Since then, she has worked in aged care, youth, residential, nursing, and disability.

Michelle has family members who have diagnosed disabilities, and therefore has a strong understanding and compassion for those who have a disability themselves, or are caring for someone with a disability. Michelle works to assist our clients to reach their full potential, whatever that may be.

Michelle has been married for almost 22 years, has three adult children, and two fur babies. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys crafting, listening to music, cooking and welcoming visitors to her home.

Michelle said: “The thing I love most about my role is seeing our participants realise they are worthy and capable. Society has for so long treated those who are considered ‘different’ as second class citizens. To see the light in someone’s eyes when they are shown respect and dignity, and that someone truly cares about them, their wishes and how they want their life to be gives me a thrill every time.”
