Assistance Dog Information Session – Friday 15th February in Capalaba – 10:00am – 11:00am

An information session for anyone who wants to learn more about assistance dogs. This session will provide participants with information such as; costs involved, benefits, training, breeds, and companies that can provide different types of assistance dogs. NDIS: THE MELTING POT – 26th February – State Library of Queensland, Brisbane

Join like-minded organisations as we discuss the value of collaboration in an NDIS market. A melting pot of experience and expertise is crucial as we work towards sustainability. Join guest speaker Lucy Brogden, Chair National Mental Health Commission and panel members for an open Q&A. Registration by 19th February is essential to secure your place.

Join this safe and supportive environment to meet new people and share your experience and your recovery journey! We will meet on Monday 18th February from 10:30am – 12:pm in Annerley. The Connection Crew peer support group – Tuesday 12th & Tuesday 26th February – North Lakes

Join this safe and supportive environment to meet new people and share your experience and your recovery journey! School of Rock Public Music Program- every Wednesday – Wynnum

Show your musical creativity by joining the 8 week Music Program in partnership with Bayside Initiatives Group (BIG), from 10:00am – 12:00pm Thursday 14th February – 4th April. Everyone who experiences mental illness is welcome to attend this free event (in addition to Open Minds clients). A fun and easy way to meet new people and make new friends! Build communication skills, have a chat with like-minded people, and practice the skills you need to form healthy friendships.
