Open Minds was proud to launch its Centenary Year with a cocktail party celebration at the State Library on 22 May.
The celebration brought together Open Minds staff, clients and community stakeholders to celebrate the extraordinary achievement of the organisation nearing its 100th birthday in October.
A discussion panel of author Nick Earls, radio presenter Kelly Higgins-Devine and family businessman and long serving Open Minds Director Ted Stewart all briefly spoke about their own personal Brisbane histories, in comparison to that of Open Minds.
Newly appointed Open Minds CEO, Kristine Sargeant expressed her excitement about working for an organisation with such a strong history within the community, and is looking forward to leading the organisation into the future.
