Cos’ IT Caird – The Charity for QLD IT community - will be holding our annual lunch on Friday 25 May 2012 at The Sofitel, Brisbane.
Last year’s event saw more than 650 members of the Queensland IT community get together and raise in excess of $170,000 for Ipswich Flood victims and Open Minds.
In 2012, funds raised will be going towards the ongoing work of Open Minds and the rollout of the new Cos’ IT Caird Crisis to Control packages.
These packages are assisting families where a member has suffered an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). From Crisis to Control will assist the person and their family to manage and understand the sometimes complex and diverse array of community services, information, resources and community linkages to enhance and enable a more positive and successful transition to home.
The luncheon includes a 3 course meal, drinks and live entertainment with some Australian Olympic legends.
