  • What is the NDIS and when will it come into affect?

From Friday 1 July, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will begin to roll out across Queensland and is being introduced in stages over the next three years to ensure it is successful and sustainable.

The NDIS replaces the old system where ‘block’ funds went to the organisations providing support. Instead, eligible people’s needs will now be individually assessed and they will be allocated individualised funding. Visit our NDIS information page for more information.
